An expedition leader and technical diver, he is drawn to stories that demand immersion. His films - including Deep Blue and Lost Worlds: Deeper into the Black Sea -  combine cinematic scale with technical innovation, taking audiences into worlds rarely seen.

As Founder of Amberjack Films and Co-Founder of the My World Film Fund, Andy focuses on narrative architecture - shaping image, sound and structure to create films with lasting impact.

Iona Campbell Byatt

Head of Development & MWFF Co-Founder

Iona leads development at Amberjack Films, shaping emotionally driven natural history and anthropological storytelling from first spark to final delivery.

With sharp editorial instinct and a deep belief in character-led narratives, she runs all our projects with clarity and care – both in development and on location.

As Co-Founder and Senior Mentor of The My World Film Grant, she champions new voices - particularly emerging and disabled filmmakers. Living and working with epilepsy has shaped her belief that powerful storytelling must be inclusive and accessible - an ethos that runs through every Amberjack production.

When she’s not developing projects or trekking through rainforests on expedition shoots, you’ll usually find her wild swimming or knitting - finding inspiration in moments of calm and connection.
